Intermediate Division
Teams competing in intermediate divisions must follow safety guidelines established by the National Federation of High Schools Spirit Rules. They are further restricted to the following skills:
* Dismounts may not exceed one full twisting rotation
* Standing tumbling up to back handsprings in difficulty (i.e. no aerial tumbling skills other than cartwheel aerials)
* Running tumbling skills to tuck position maximum (i.e. no lay outs or full twisting layouts)
* Tosses of any type should not exceed two tricks (i.e. kick double full twisting baskets are prohibited)
* No release moves in stunts or pyramids and pyramids may not pass through 2 ½ high
Advanced Division
* Teams competing in advanced school divisions must follow safety guidelines established by the National Federation of High Schools Spirit Rules. Skills that violate these guidelines are prohibited and penalty points will be assessed for any violations.
Parochial Schools
* Parochial schools refer to school with predominantly religious affiliations, home schools, charter schools and private schools.
Non-Mount Division
* Absolutely NO stunts are allowed in the non-mount division. Penalty points will be assessed for any violation of this rule.
